Welcome to Our School

Shan-Yee Poon Ballet School has proudly provided the San Francisco community with outstanding dance classes for adults, children & toddlers for the past twenty years. Our program began with ballet and has grown to include Jazz, Tap, Character Dance, and special toddler dance and music movement classes. We spend a great deal of effort selecting and training our instructors. Our instructors are committed to providing all students with professional quality training and giving all students special individualized attention.

Our Mission

The mission of Shan-Yee Poon Ballet School is to provide students with a high quality dance education in which they can develop into artistically expressive dancers from a diverse population. Our professional staff and training program offers students the opportunity to develop exceptional dance technique with emphasis on solid fundamentals in a challenging, fair and nurturing environment. We encourage all students to discover their potential for excellence and self-confidence. Shan Yee Poon Ballet School strives to produce beautiful dancers that move with grace and confidence not only in dance but in life as well.
